OPESF Partners with The Q Shack Charlotte and The Local Scoop for a "Quarantine Style" Spring BBQ

The OPES Foundation partnered with The Q Shack Charlotte and The Local Scoop for a Spring BBQ Fundraiser. The members of OPESF were disappointed they could not carry out their usual Spring BBQ Fundraiser at the school, but found a way to not only support OP- but two locally-owned small businesses as well!

We had great success, raising over $5,500 in BBQ pre-order sales! The OPES Foundation was given 25% of the total money raised. This money will go towards teacher grants for the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you to our school families and our community for showing up to benefit Olde Providence Elementary and two locally-owned businesses during this time of uncertainty.

“We cannot thank The Q Shack Charlotte and The Local Scoop enough for their kindness and support of Olde Providence. We hope we can partner with them again in the near future for other fundraising events!" -Robyn Riordan

Stay tuned for our Fall BBQ announcement!
